Emergency Dental Care in Omaha

Toothaches can have a number of causes, including cavities, tooth fractures or cracks, tooth abscesses, gum disease, or dead or dying teeth.
Because Dr. Semerad and Dr. Larsen are experienced in diagnosing and treating all of these problems, patients rarely require outside referral for care. Our patients love staying at Legacy Dental for their treatment in a comfortable and familiar environment and we love helping patients from the beginning to the end of their treatment.

Emergency Services at Legacy Dental

Tooth That Has Been Knocked Out

At Legacy Dental Care, we strive to immediately take care of our patients who are experiencing this painful dental emergency. If you or your child knocks a tooth out, carefully place the tooth into a cup of milk and bring it with you to our office as quickly as possible.  Time is the most critical factor in determining whether a tooth can be replanted in the mouth.

Broken Tooth

Teeth can be incredibly strong, but they can still chip, break or crack (fracture).

Broken Filling

When a filling breaks it is important to fix it quickly. A broken filling will allow bacteria and food to collect inside the tooth which can lead to the need for more extensive treatment. A broken filling will only get worse if it is not repaired immediately.

Sometimes a small break can be fixed easily, however, delaying treatment can allow the break to get bigger or a cavity to set into the broken area, making repair more involved.

Tooth Abscess

Badly infected teeth can jeopardize the health of their adjacent teeth. Fortunately, we can help! If treated immediately, these infections are easy to recover from and can be prevented from causing lasting damage to your mouth.

Tooth Pain

The first step to take if you are suffering with persistent tooth pain is to call Legacy Dental Care to schedule an exam.

Dental Trauma

Dental trauma is common and can be related to a fall, sports injury, or other accident. If you have experienced dental trauma, please call to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. Dental trauma due to an accident is common and can happen due to motor vehicle accidents, falls, sports injuries or physical altercations.

If you have experienced dental trauma resulting in a tooth being knocked loose, a filling being damaged or a tooth being fractured, call Legacy Dental Care immediately to schedule an emergency appointment.

We offer comprehensive dental services and utilize the most advanced technology available to ensure the highest quality of dental care for our patients.
